New Clients

Starting therapy for your child can feel like a big step. At Nest & Nurture Pediatrics, we aim to make the process simple, supportive, and transparent from the very beginning.

Our services are delivered in the comfort of your child’s home and are designed to help children build independence, confidence, and meaningful skills for everyday life.

To provide a smooth and secure experience, we use SimplePractice, a HIPAA-compliant client portal where families can complete paperwork, schedule appointments, communicate securely, and access important documents related to their child’s care.

Request an Appointment

To begin services, families can request an appointment directly through our secure SimplePractice booking link.

Once your request is received, you will be sent access to the Nest & Nurture Pediatrics client portal, where you can complete the required intake paperwork.

Create Your Secure Client Portal

After requesting an appointment, you will receive an email invitation to create your secure SimplePractice client portal account.

Through this portal you will:

• Complete intake forms
• Review practice policies
• Sign consent documents
• Provide relevant developmental and medical history

This information helps us better understand your child’s needs before the evaluation.

Confirm Your Evaluation Appointment

Once your paperwork is completed, your initial occupational therapy evaluation appointment will be confirmed.

You will receive appointment reminders and any additional information through the SimplePractice portal.

Initial Evaluation Session

Your child’s first appointment is a comprehensive occupational therapy evaluation.

During this session we will:

• Discuss your concerns and goals for therapy
• Observe your child through play and functional activities
• Assess skills related to fine motor development, executive functioning, daily routines, and participation in everyday tasks
• Evaluate how your child functions within their natural home environment

Because sessions take place in the comfort of your home, we are able to observe real-life routines and situations that influence your child’s development.

Personalized Therapy Plan

Following the evaluation, we will develop an individualized therapy plan based on your child’s strengths, challenges, and your family’s priorities.

This may include:

• Individualized therapy goals
• Recommended therapy frequency
• Strategies for supporting progress at home
• Parent education and collaboration
